239AA NEWS!! READ ALL ABOUT IT!!

10/28/2011: The Showcase Edition of 239AA has been cancelled due to lack of support from the venue. However, the GREAT news is we are STILL at the Holiday Inn every 2md Saturday and have added TWO ADDITIONAL NIGHTS for November! THe 3rd Saturday in November, join us for our first makeup & skincare class and social mixer. Enjoy Chanel makeup demonstrations and instruction from beauty expert Shedrick Syncere Whitfield and stick around to enjoy finger foods, martinis & cosmos for the social mixer immediately after! 7/26/2011: Its official, we have added a NEW edition of 239 Acoustic Affairs! The NEW showcase venue will be held at Vino de Lotte Restaurant inside of Hotel Indigo downtown Fort Myers beginning July 30, 2011 and every 4th Saturday of the month thereafter. This showcase will feature our BEST open mic artists, a wine tasting session, drinks, food, blues, jazz and neo-soul music all night long! Dress Code is enforced, ages 21 and up only, $10 cover. Come be inspired at the 239AA Showcase and Wine Tasting Event with Vino de Lotte Restaurant! -Your Founder QU ♥

3/3/2011: 239AA has a NEW home and is back BIGGER & BETTER for 2011! Join us on April 9, 2011 10pm-1am for the first 239AA since 2010! Our new location is at the Holiday Inn - Downtown Historic District at 2431 Cleveland Ave, across from Lee Memorial Hospital. Call 239 878.1279 for more info or to sign up to take the mic that night! 3/2011: 239 Acoustic Affairs is the Official Recipient of the 2010 National Poetry Award for the Open Mic of the Year! Congrats to the whole 239AA family!! -Your Founder QU ♥

9/9/2010: 239AA regrets to announce the Lion's Den Restaurant will be closing down after September 2010 and 239AA will soon be switching locations. With that said I promise to select a quality venue with the atmosphere that meets the expectations of the 239AA audience and artists & return BIGGER & BETTER than ever before! The Lions Den and the whole crew will ALWAYS have a special place in our hearts and we will continue to work directly with Lioness, King Leo & the family in all future endeavors. We are extremely thankful for our remarkable 10-month run at the Lions Den & will keep you posted on our new location and trust me when I say WE HAVE OPTIONS lol! Please join us for the last 2 shows at the Den on 9/23 & 9/30/2010 as we take it out with a BANG!
