The 239 Acoustic Affairs Open Mic edition started in 2007, and is now at the Holiday Inn - Downtown Historic District located on Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers across from the Lee Memorial Hospital and Lions Park. The show is held inside the Palms Bar and Grille offering a full service Bar/Lounge and a dining room that is sure to please everyone in your party.
Come join us for great food, choice beverages, and fun. Come join us and enjoy live entertainment, food, fun, art, good music and more. Our seasons run in 6 month segments (6 months on and 6 months off) on the last Saturday of each month. We open the evening with food and drink specials, socializing and the best in funk, old school hip hop, neo soul and R&B music by DJ Julz and photography by Daryl Morson.
Doors open at 9pm and around 10:30 the live performances begin with local & featured R&B singers, "jazzicians", spoken word poets, musicians, comedians and so more. We offer "Best of Show" custom 239AA trophies for our performers as well as a "Best Audience Member" medallion for the most supportive audience member of the night. You can take the stage and express yourself or take a seat and enjoy local entertainers reading poetry, playing instruments, singing and more! Come let 239 Acoustic Affairs inspire you!
Cover is only $5 before 10pm, $10 after but you can avoid the line and purchase tickets, memberships or reserve tables in advance HERE!
